Stoke vs. Chelsea: Confirmed lineups and discussion

The Blues look to pull within a point of Arsenal as they take on Stoke at The Britannia

Chelsea have had Stoke City's number of late, having gone unbeaten against the Potters since 1995. They'll hope to continue that streak with a big win today, a result that would move them to within a point of the league leaders.

Jose Mourinho has acknowledged that this will likely be a physical match, and has selected his lineup accordingly:

Chelsea starters: Petr Cech, Branislav Ivanovic, Gary Cahill, John Terry, Cesar Azpilicueta, John Obi Mikel, Ramires, Juan Mata, Eden Hazard, Andre Schurrle, Fernando Torres

Chelsea bench: Mark Schwarzer, Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard, Michael Essien, Kevin De Bruyne, Samuel Eto'o, Demba Ba

Mark Hughes has gone with the following:

Stoke starters: Asmir Begovic, Geoff Cameron, Ryan Shawcross, Robert Huth, Marc Muniesa, Jon Walters, Steven Nzonzi, Glenn Whelan, Charlie Adam, Marko Arnautovic, Peter Crouch

Stoke bench: Thomas Sorensen, Jermaine Pennant, Wilson Palacios, Kenwyne Jones, Oussama Assaidi, Andy Wilkinson, Stephen Ireland
