Southampton vs. Chelsea: You choose the squad

Who would you select as we kick of 2014?

Julian Finney

The Blues will kick off 2014 on the south coast of England, looking to take three big points against a quality Southampton side. Jose Mourinho will have his selection a bit limited for that game, as injury and suspension have left the club without several regular selections.

Marco van Ginkel continues to sit out while recovering from a major knee injury, and Frank Lampard also picked up an injury which will see him missing several matches. Branislav Ivanovic picked up a less serious knock, but is still doubtful for Wednesday's match. Mourinho will also have to get by without David Luiz, as the Brazilian defender will miss the contest due to accumulate yellow cards.

As always, we've given you the chance to voice your opinion ahead of Wednesday's match. Fill out the form below, and feel free to click this link if you want to check in on the results of the voting.
