The Premier League Sitcom / Saturday Football Open Thread

Richard Heathcote

"It's a big match for sure. It's still a London derby, it's still Arsenal and Chelsea, plus it's first against third. It's a pity it's not tomorrow because I'm ready for the game, I'm waiting for the game and I very much want to play the game."

Monday seems ages away. Until then, we'll have to do with a few subpar episodes of the Premier League Sitcom. Here's our favorite videographer Feroze Ali to catch you up with a bit of "Previously on..."

Up first today, it's Liverpool vs. Cardiff City. The Reds can jump to the top of the table should they win as expected. That's a bit disheartening, but I suppose that's the Premier Parity League for ya.

At the traditional 3pm kickoff time, we have six options to choose from, with Manchester United hosting West Ham United the most televised pick of the bunch. Other choices include Crystal Palace vs. Newcastle, Fulham vs. Manchester City, Stoke City vs. Aston Villa, Sunderland vs. Norwich City, and West Bromwich Albion vs. Hull City. All of those could easily result in the away side winning. Weird.
