Chelsea take to the pitch in a few hours, at which time we'll either be back in with a realistic shot at top spot in the Premier League or we'll be staring up at a rather sizable eight-point gap to Arsenal.
It is the marquee tie of the round, Manchester City vs. Arsenal. First versus fourth. Etihad versus Emirates. Best, highest scoring offense versus best (?), most stingy defense. Current Manchester-based players versus future Manchester-based players!
City have been beyond unstoppable at home; Arsenal have been very good since that opening stumble against Aston Villa. In fact, they've only lost four times since then (one of those at home to Chelsea in the League Cup), although giving hope for all those of us who keep waiting for their inevitable collapse are the back-to-back winless matches at home to Everton (1-1) and away to Napoli (2-0). Come on you bad moments!
Ok, I guess it's time for all of us to turn a lighter shade of blue. Do it for City TV; they're the best!
