Sunday Pre-match Open Thread

Chris Brunskill

Welcome to yet another "super" Sunday with six of the current top nine in action across four matches in the Barclays Premier League.

Chelsea have one of the later matches and by the time kickoff rolls around, we will have known how Liverpool, Spurs, and Manchester United have got on. The latter two face each other first (7am EST; NBCSN), the top half's worst attack (9 in 12 scored for Spurs) hosting the top half's second worst defense (15 in 12 conceded for United).

As soon as they're done, Liverpool will get started on the easy-sounding task of dismantling Hull City (9am EST; NBCSN) although the newly promoted side have been rather tough at home: just two conceded in six (three wins).

Then, when those two are done, it will be Chelsea's turn. At the same time, or just a few minutes later, Manchester City vs. Swansea City will kick off as well, but most likely we won't be paying attention to that one too much.
