Basel vs. Chelsea: You choose the squad

Chelsea can clinch advancement to the knockout round as well as a place atop the group on Tuesday, who would you put on the pitch to do so?

Ian Walton

Chelsea are in excellent shape as they prepare for the penultimate game of the Champions League group stage, which will take place against FC Basel. A win on Tuesday means Chelsea are mathematically assured of topping the group, while a mere point means we'll be guaranteed advancement.

While taking care of business ourselves is something we should be expecting, a win against Steaua on the final matchday would also ensure that the Blues finish atop their group. I'm certain that Mourinho would rather have a meaningless contest in that game though, so I'd expect a fairly strong lineup from Mourinho for Basel.

We're not asking what you think Mourinho would do in this post, however. Instead we're asking what you would do if you were in charge of the Blues. Below you'll have the opportunity to fill out you own team sheet to face Basel, the results of which can be found here. Feel free to fill out the form and discuss your selections in the comment section below.
