Jose Mourinho's given us an injury update ahead of the West Ham United match, and there's good news and bad news. According to the manager, Fernando Torres isn't quite ready to play again (nearly, but not quite) following the muscle injury he sustained earlier in the month, leaving Chelsea with one of Samuel Eto'o and Demba Ba to start up front.
But in good news, Ashley Cole is fit enough to play, and he will start at left back over Cesar Azpilicueta. Cole had missed several games for club and country with a rib problem, and it flared up again in midweek, leading to fears that he might be sidelined again. Fortunately, that isn't the case -- although he is still feeling the injury -- and Cole is 'selected' for tomorrow's match.
Marco van Ginkel is still a long-term absence, but aside from him and Torres, Chelsea have a clean bill of health heading into the match. No excuses for dropping points this time around...
