Kevin de Bruyne. Remember him? He had a good pre-season and bright start to life with the first team, but has since faded somewhat and hasn't exactly endeared himself to Jose Mourinho with his indifferent displays. And if that wasn't bad enough news for the young Belgian, he's now injured:
Injury concerns continue to mount for Wilmots. Kevin De Bruyne has gone to hospital for check on ankle after training this morning.

De Bruyne going to hospital for an ankle injury does not sound particularly positive for either Chelsea or Belgium, although Marc Wilmot's concerns will be somewhat mitigated by the fact that World Cup qualification is by this point a formatility. The problem is more to do with de Bruyne's development -- hopefully it's not a big deal, but either way it's difficult to imagine him getting much playing time over the international break after this injury, and he desperately needed that time to get back in form. Bleh.
