Norwich City vs. Chelsea: Linueps, benches, and discussion

The Blues will look to earn three valuable points as they head to Carrow Road today

Jamie McDonald

The Blues will be looking to get a win today at a ground where they've generally struggled to do so, having won just five times in 22 trips to Carrow Road before today. This season, the Canaries have been relatively disappointing, drawing one, losing three, and winning just two Premier League matches. They have won two straight fixtures though, beating Stoke at the Britannia after an extra time victory over Watford in the League Cup.

The Blues come into today's game in relatively good form, having won three of their last four while drawing Tottenham at White Hart Lane in the game they didn't win. The three Chelsea victories in that span all included clean sheets. With that in mind, Jose Mourinho has selected the following players to take part today:

Starting Lineup

Petr Cech, Branislav Ivanovic, David Luiz, John Terry, Ashley Cole, Ramires, Frank Lampard, Andre Schurrle, Oscar, Juan Mata, Demba Ba

Bench

Mark Schwarzer, Cesar Azspilicueta, Gary Cahill, Willian, Michael Essien, Samuel Eto'o, Eden Hazard

Norwich will be opposing us with the following:

Starting Lineup

John Ruddy, Russell Martin, Sebastien Bassong, Michael Turner, Martin Olsson, Jonathon Howson, Alexander Tettey, Leroy Fer, Anthony Pilkington, Robert Snodgrass, Ricky van Wolfswinkel.

Bench

Mark Bunn, Steven Whittaker, Bradley Johnson, Gary Hooper, Johan Elmander, Nathan Redmond, Ryan Bennett.

As always, keep it civil and don't link or direct to illegal streams. Let's go Blues!
