The opening 20 minutes or so were dominated by Chelsea, although they did very little in the final third to really threaten the Polish keeper. The first real chance of the game came from a Ryo run in behind, a run that would have been offside if not for Gary Cahill going rogue and playing the youngster onside.
Just minutes later, some boneheaded defensive work from Arsenal left Cesar Azpilicueta alone with the keeper. Azpilicueta made no mistake, and the Blues finally had their lead that their early play seemed to deserve.
Arsenal have found a bit of footing in the game since that point, but haven't really put the Blues goal under a period of heavy pressure. Their best chance of the final 20 minutes probably came from a silly turnover by Azpi, that error aside, Chelsea have done a nice job dealing with Bendtner and company.
Enjoy the second half, and let's hope that Chelsea can put this one to bed early on. Let's go Blues!
