Chelsea were disappointing in their opening fixture of the Champions League campaign this season, dropping a 2-1 contest at home to FC Basel. They'll be looking to get things heading in the right direction today in Romania, as they take on Steaua Bucharest with three very important points on the line.
The other game in the group today will feature Schalke heading to Basel, with first place in the group to be decided by the outcome there. A draw would likely be the best result for Chelsea, although a win in their game against Bucharest is far more important than anything either of those teams takes from the contest.
Jose Mouinho and Chelsea will be lining up with the following squad today:
Team v Steaua: Cech; Ivanovic, D Luiz, Terry (c), Cole; Ramires, Lampard; Mata, Oscar, Schurrle; Torres. #CFC
