Chelsea will face Southend United or Brentford in the 4th round of the FA Cup

We advanced to the next round of the FA Cup with a convincing win over Southampton, we now know who we'll be facing in our next game

The fourth round draw for the FA Cup has just been completed, and Chelsea now know who they will be facing. The winner of the game between Southend United and Brentford will be rewarded with a home tie against the Blues. The two teams played to a 2-2 draw in their initial matchup, and will have a replay at Brentford to determine who hosts the reigning champions of Europe. Brentford is a League One side, while Southend plays in League Two.

Fourth round games are set to be played on the weekend of January 26, 2013. I'd assume Chelsea's game will be slotted on the 26th, as this would mean the game falls perfectly between a pair of away dates for the club. Chelsea will be playing the second leg of their Capital One Cup semifinal at Swansea on the January 23, and will travel to Reading for a Premier League tie on January 29. Both John Obi Mikel and Victor Moses will be away at the African Cup of Nations during this time. Still, we really shouldn't need our top players for this one, and might even be able to get away with using Fernando Torres.
