Patrick Bamford heads back to MK Dons on loan

The young Chelsea striker will be sent back out on loan for the remainder of the season

Chelsea's big transfer deadline day move last season was to purchase young center forward Patrick Bamford from Nottingham Forest. Thus far today, their big move has been to send him away on loan. Bamford spent just over a month at MK Dons earlier in the season, a loan spell that was cut short by a hamstring injury. Bamford is now fully recovered from the injury, and he'll rejoin the League One side for the remainder of the 2012/13 season.

Bamford made a pair of appearances for MK Dons in his first loan spell at the club, and was reportedly fairly impressive in his limited time on the pitch. He has also looked pretty good for the U21 side this season, finding the back of the net four times for Chelsea's squad.

Dons manager Karl Robinson s already familiar enough with what Bamford brings to the table that I'm sure Bamford will see some minutes if he remains healthy this spring, and I'm very excited to see what he can do with regular time on the pitch. Best of luck with everything Patrick, I'm excited to have to add you to the loan roundup.
