Chelsea aren't through to the fifth round of the FA Cup, but if we manage to do the unthinkable and dispatch Brentford at home, we now have an idea what will be in store for us next. The draw for the next round of action was just completed, and the winner of the Chelsea/Brentford replay will be heading north to face Middlesbrough.
Boro have been having a good season, but should Chelsea advance, they should be solid favorites in that one. Also of note here, Josh McEachran will not be eligible to take part for Boro due to FA rules preventing players from facing their parent clubs.
The potential game will also be of some interest to Ross Turnbull, who made his name as Boro's keeper before signing for Chelsea several seasons ago. Should Chelsea make it that far and Rafa choose to rest Petr Cech, I'm sure Turnbull would be in for a fairly warm reception from the Middlesbrough fans.
