We got Chelsea's Champions League squad list earlier today; now it's time for the Premier League version. The domestic rules are a lot more relaxed than UEFA's draconian (and biased) nonsense, which is good because it's the grind of the season that will be the real test of the squad's depth rather than a handful of group stage matches.

Hit the jump for the full 23-player list:

Green is for homegrown players (there's no club-trained versus association trained foolishness to worry about with this one), and blue is for the under-21 players who are listed on the senior team. This is your daily reminder that Eden Hazard is really young. Eden Hazard is amazing. We bought Eden Hazard and nobody else did. Suck it, everyone else.

As an aside, it's nice to finally have eight homegrown players, so if we wanted to, someday we could hope to use all 25 senior slots. It's been an issue in the past, but with Victor Moses and Gary Cahill both coming in as well as Daniel Sturridge and Ryan Bertrand becoming seniors, we've finally got enough English-trained players the we're got getting punished by the Premier League.

Anyway, there are no surprises here. Everyone's a winner! Even Florent Malouda! We've ditched Raul Meireles and Michael Essien but even without their departures we'd have plenty of room on the squad. Including Hazard, Oscar and Oriol Romeu only gets us to 23 players, meaning that we could buy an extra two in the next transfer window and not worry about failing to comply with any rules once that trio lose their u21 eligibility. I would recommend a striker and a central midfielder, but I am a blogger.
