Scott Sinclair officially joins Manchester City

We've been expecting this for some time, but this morning Scott Sinclair has finalized his move from Swansea to Manchester City. The fee is rumored to be anywhere from £6.2-£8 million, so that would mean Chelsea would be pocketing between £470,000 and £650,000 for the fact that he developed in their academy.

Some seem to be questioning the fit with Manchester City, but they obviously hold Sinclair in high regard. He's homegrown, and that's always a plus. City would also appear to be lacking a little bit of depth on the wings if they don't make another early exit from the Champions League, as two games a week will give them plenty of chances to rotate their squad.

Also of note here is the amount of money that's being spent on former Chelsea academy products this summer. Three players that have left in the last two seasons have now netted over £20 million in sales this summer alone. That can't really be looked at as a bad thing, as it's clear that Chelsea are producing quality players. Best of luck at City Scott, hopefully you have lots of great games that your team loses in miserable fashion.
