When is Marko Marin coming back?

Diminutive German newcomer Marko Marin shone during the preseason tour, but we're yet to see him play for Chelsea on English shores. The 23-year-old has been stuck in Lord Jabu-Jabu's belly sidelined with a hamstring injury for the entire month, and he's not going to feature against Reading, either. But when is he going to be back?

It won't be long for Marin, but it might not be before the international break.

The international break, by the way, will run (for Chelsea) between August 31st, when the Blues contest the Super Cup against Atletico Madrid and the September 15th league match against Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road. Hopefully, he recovers closer to the Atletico game than the QPR match and can use the break to build up some strength, which would allow him to slot back into the Chelsea squad more or less immediately.

But man, six weeks out thanks to a hamstring injury before he's even made his debut? That's rough. Poor Marko.
