What with all the excitement over... uh... nothing's happened today, so I don't have much of an excuse for this one -- I missed John Chapman (@Belgofoot) tweeting about Kevin de Bruyne's impending loan move to Werder Bremen, which is apparently going to be finalised right about nowish:
Het Laatste Nieuws says Kevin De Bruyne has undertaken a medical at Werder Bremen and will train with his new 'loan' club on Thursday.

Nothing really unexpected here, and it's no surprise that de Bruyne had a medical basically as soon as he got back from Chelsea's tour of the USA. There'd been some quotes floating around about the young Belgian wanting to leave the club, but in the proper context they pretty clearly meant on a loan, and that's exactly what the Blues wanted too. The Bundesliga makes sense for de Bruyne right now. It's at the perfect level where he can both expect regular playing time and learn a great deal.
We'll let you know when everything is official, but right now that appears to be a matter of crossing ts and dotting is. Do people actually write everything out before going back to dot their is? That seems like a weird thing to do. How do you pluralise letters, anyway?
