2012 Summer Olympics: Men's Football - 26 July: Afternoon Open Thread

Quick, Cesar, bust a move!
Quick, Cesar, bust a move!

Olympic football is back after a four-year gap. Well, Men's football is. The Women's tournament began yesterday. The first game on the Women's side, Great Britain v New Zealand, actually featured Chelsea LFC's Kiwi midfielder Hayley Moorwood who captained the New Zealand side, and British defender Claire Rafferty, who sadly didn't see the pitch.

This is the thread for the "afternoon" games, which are the first five matches of the day.

These are: Honduras v Morocco at 12:00, Mexico v South Korea at 14:30, Spain v Japan at 14:45, UAE v Uruguay at 17:00, and Gabon v Switzerland at 17:15 [All times BST]

Obviously, the big one for us is Spain v Japan, because of Chelsea players Juan Mata and Oriol Romeu, and Chelsea target Cesar Azpilicueta. The other game of interest would be UAE v Uruguay, which features a strong Uruguay, including rumoured Chelsea target Edinson Cavani.

If you're having trouble finding coverage, you should be able to find a listing through your local Olympic broadcaster's website, or, at the very least, Google.
