MLS All-Stars v Chelsea - 25 July 2012 - Lineups and Game Thread

Yeah, he still has a lot of balls.
Yeah, he still has a lot of balls.

It's time to take revenge on MLS for our 1-0 2006 All-Star Game defeat, you guys! Chelsea take on the MLS All-Stars in Philadelphia tonight in the third game of our preseason. We should be looking to win tonight, but the biggest focus has still got to be getting our fitness levels up.

As such, we'll probably see fewer substitutions, and they'll be later in the match. We'll probably see good minutes for JT, Ash, and Frank, as well as Eden Hazard and Romelu LUKAKU. Raul Meireles, having only recently linked-up with the squad, may see some time, but our last arrival, Fernando Torres, won't, as he's not in the squad.

Oh, and as if just to annoy DPeezy, we should be wearing our spiffy new away kits. Yes, the aqua sash is here! : )

MLS All-Stars [4-4-2] : Jimmy Nielsen; Steven Beitashour, Aurélien Collin, Jay DeMerit, Justin Morrow; David Beckham, Osvaldo Alonso, Landon Donovan, Graham Zusi; Thierry Henry, Chris Wondolowski

Chelsea [4-2-3-1]: Hilario; Branislav Ivanovic, John Terry, Gary Cahill, Ashey Cole; Michael Essien, Frank Lampard; Ramires, Yossi Benayoun, Marko Marin; Romelu Lukaku
