I know many here were hoping to secure the services of former Blackburn Rovers man Junior Hoillet, but for me the young homegrown winger who looked most interesting this summer was Wigan Athletic's Victor Moses. Sure, he's not available on a free, but he's been consistently superb, is versatile, should come fairly cheap, and he doesn't turn 22 until December. If we wanted to add some depth on the wings without breaking the bank, he'd be a very reasonable option.
And, apparently, Chelsea agree:
I don't know for now [whether I will move], but there's a link for me to Liverpool, Chelsea and some other clubs in England. If the offer is cool, why not, I will move.

Obviously that's far from concrete, but if the Blues want to break off the Hulk chase in favour of Moses and some help in the centre of the midfield and at right back... well, I think I'd prefer that. Moses is an exciting young talent who can help the squad right now, and I've been a huge fan of his since the Crystal Palace days. If getting him instead of Hulk means that it's possible to get a Javi Martinez or a Luka Modric (I don't know if it is, mind), I'll happily take that hit.
