Things that are not making me happy today: International football. Why? Because both Chelsea centre halves who played in England vs. Belgium are currently having precautionary scans on injuries they picked up during their friendly. We've already written about what happened to Gary Cahill following his collision with Joe Hart, but according to Roy Hodgson John Terry has picked up a minor hamstring complaint and will need a precautionary scan to clear him. No, it's not a big deal. Yes, it's really annoying.
Oh and they're still worried about Gary Cahill as well:
Hodgson calls Terry hamstring a "slight" worry. But says a "distinct possibility" that Cahill has fractured his jaw which would rule him out— Oliver Kay (@OliverKayTimes) June 2, 2012
I don't like 'distinct' possibilities that a Chelsea player has fractured his jaw in a largely pointless match. I mean, sure, a mild hamstring problem for Terry and a fractured jaw for Cahill wouldn't mean much as far as next season is concerned, but it would be much better if the two of them weren't getting beat up on behalf of a really bad England team.
