Tuesday morning rumor roundup: Hazard wearing blue, M'Villa to Le Arse?

Two big items made the news this morning that deal with players Chelsea have been interested in previously. First we'll touch on the big one, with fan favrite Eden Hazard dropping yet another hint about his future employer. Earlier this season Hazard made clear that he intends to play in England next season, last night he narrowed down his future a little more for us in an interview with French TV. According to Hazard:

It's the blue that I'll be wearing next season. Definitely the blue.

That's good news for Chelsea, Tottenham, and Manchester City, bad news for just about any other club in the Premier League. At this point it sounds like Hazard already knows where he's heading in the summer, so hopefully this one will sort itself quickly instead of becoming a Cesc-like saga.

Since we just mentioned Cesc, we may as well look at his former club. Arsenal are rumored to be on the verge of signing Yann M'Villa from Rennes, M'Villa was briefly rumored to be heading to Chelsea last summer as a replacement to Michael Essien before the purchase of Oriol Romeu, and frankly I'd still take him in a heartbeat. Here's hoping Arsenal try to pinch pennies enough that M'Villa heads elsewhere, he's a fantastic player.

Anyway, this is probably all just newspaper nonsense, but when a direct quote like that comes out it's certainly food for thought. Enjoy...
