Chelsea Win The 2012 FA Cup

The Blues made it far more stressful than they really should have, but came away Wembley winners once more. The game looked as though it was going to be easy - Ramires scored early in the first half and Didier Drogba that lead with a neat finish just after the restart, but Liverpool sprang to life with the introduction of Andy Carroll 55 minutes in.

The former Newcastle man quickly scored an equaliser following an error by Jose Bosingwa and some questionable defending from John Terry, and from that point Chelsea looked completely and utterly lost. For the last half hour, the team seemed completely incapable of grasping concepts like 'passing' or 'defending' and they held on by the absolute skin of their teeth. I mean, look at what Petr Cech had to do to preserve the lead:

That's probably our save of the season, by the way. Anyway, we finally got our collective act together when injury time rolled around, and the 2-1 lead held. Chelsea are your 2012 FA Cup champions. Wonderful.
