Eden Hazard Update: The Belgian Talks, Once More Says Nothing

Didier Drogba demonstrating his disbelief at Hazard's ability to say nothing time and again.

Yet again, Eden Hazard has let slip a tantalising nugget of information on Twitter today, but has again avoided saying anything of value. In the tweet, found here, he says, somewhat infuriatingly for those who appreciate proper grammar*, "good afternoon guys. i made up my mind. see you later. thanks" So, we know that Eden Hazard knows we know he knows where he's going to be playing his football next season, but are no closer to knowing precisely where that will be.

Unless you believe Louis Saha, that is, with the Frenchman tweeting later, "Apparently on his way to Chelseafc." Of course, precisely why Saha would know where the Belgian is headed remains unanswered, though feel free to wilfully ignore reason if you like. : )

After yesterday's report declaring us victors in the chase for the elusive Belgian, there are also rumours circulating on Twitter that Hazard will leave the Belgian camp to have a medical at Cobham ahead of the Red Devils' trip to London to face Roy Hodgson's England at Wembley. As is usual with Twitter, though, I now fully expect to see him rock up somewhere else.

However this transfer odyssey actually resolves itself, I think we can all be glad it's about to finish, whether you believe it'll end up our favour or not. In the next few days, when Hazard announces he's joined Sligo Rovers, don't say I didn't warn you!

[*Yes, I'm aware English is not his first language.]
