As defending European Champions, Chelsea have a lot of money to spend. They're also in an interesting situation, with their best striker having left, two squad players poised to depart on a free transfer and a 'manager' who's actually an 'interim head coach'.
So, what should the club be looking at doing? There are plenty of options in terms of strengthening the squad and some interesting scenarios regarding the manager. I'm going to try to avoid spoiling this discussion by saying what I think Chelsea need to be doing this summer - I'm more curious about what the community as a whole believes. What positions should we be looking hardest at? Who are your primary targets this summer? Who should be Chelsea manager, and for how long?
Think about how you would build this team if you were working on not only setting up the squad for success this season but being reasonably financially prudent as well - and give your analysis in the comments.
