Chelsea Vs. Bayern Munich, 2012 Champions League Final: Halftime Score 0-0

Alright, so the first half of the Champions League final didn't exactly go as planned. Chelsea defended reasonably deep but they never really bothered trying to win the ball, and were therefore sliced open basically at will whenever Bayern Munich decided to attack. Which was frequently.

Fortunately for the Blues, the hosts have been a little bit erratic in their shooting - Arjen Robben has had a shot kicked onto the post by Petr Cech and Mario Gomez has missed a couple of clear chances. Salomon Kalou had the best chance of the half as far as Chelsea were concerned, taking a first-time shot at Manuel Neuer's near post which ended up being saved fairly easily.

At any rate, Chelsea look fine when they have the ball. They just don't have the ball very often, because... well I don't know why. They need to be much better at putting pressure on Bayern, because both teams have iffy looking defences at the moment. Ours is just being tested more often. No goals yet, which is pretty good news.
