David Luiz and Gary Cahill are back in training

While Chelsea are probably fine for tomorrow with Branislav Ivanovic now having served his suspension for violent conduct, they could really use both Cahill and Luiz when the aforementioned pair miss the Champions League final due to suspensions. In that regard, we had some very good news from Cobham today. While not participating in full training yet, both players were running on the side today. That's obviously good news, as that should mean both will be returning to full training relatively soon. Di Matteo seems to mirror that thought in his comments on the pair:

I need to check their progress on a daily basis but tomorrow is too early for them. However, they are progressing well. It is impossible for me to give a comeback date but hopefully they will be ready before the Champions League Final.

Ideally the pair will both be back in time for our season finale. That would allow both to get back on the pitch for a Cameo before what might be the biggest game in Chelsea's history. As not terrible as he's been, I don't think any of us are overly enthusiastic about the idea of starting Jose Bosingwa at center back in that contest. Get well soon guys...we need you.
