Chelsea and Liverpool's FA Cup semifinal wins have done some interesting things to the fixture list. With the final tentatively scheduled for May 5th this year (which feels far earlier than previous installments) and the league match between the two sides also set for that Saturday, the FA has had to do some hasty juggling to fit all of the games in. Here's our new schedule for that week:
Chelsea vs. Liverpool, FA Cup Final
Date/Time: Saturday May 5th, 5:15 BST (12:15 PM EDT)
Venue: Wembley Stadium, London.
Liverpool vs. Chelsea, Premier League
Date/Time: Tuesday May 8th, 8:00 PM BST (3:00 PM EDT)
Venue: Anfield, Liverpool.
Both games are big - although the FA Cup final might not matter to some more accustomed to Chelsea going after bigger fish, it's still a cup final, and the league game will probably be a must-win for the Blues if they want to have much hope of finishing in fourth place - so this will be a fun week. After all, you can never play Liverpool too many times. Right?
Alternatively it could be a very very bad week. Maybe.
