The biggest news of the day is the apparent shock horror that Chelsea are not actually as good as Manchester City anymore! Shock horror! The defeat this morning places a big emphasis on this weekend's game against Spurs, especially after their general terribleness against Stoke. At least one team in London managed to beat Stoke this year.
I've finished exams now, so hopefully these link posts can get back into my routine again. To the links!
There was also an amusing verbal joust between the fans. When Chelsea supporters broke into "there’s only one team in Europe", City fans hit back instantly with "you’re just the third team in London".
Standing throughout like a diminutive doorman in the technical area, the Villas-Boas raincoat replaced by a coat of fine Italian wool, the man in black offered a hand to a verse of "There's only one Di Matteo" from the delirious travelling support.
Silly rumour of the day

Demba Ba? I'd take him, because his play is fairly awesome, but I do worry for any striker that ever comes to Stamford Bridge again. Torres has scarred me.

NB: I have some weird thing going on when I link Back Page Football - when I post a story, whatever the article's about suddenly has a huge development. For example, I linked a piece from BPF about AVB's eight months in charge, and two days later he was sacked. So, I guess I'm posting this in a bit of blind hope as well. But do read it, it actually is excellent.
