Manchester City Vs. Chelsea: Match Reaction

Chelsea lose 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium, and, well, the 100% run had to end sometime. I wasn't expecting much in the way of a result - City have yet to fail to win at the Etihad Stadium, and Chelsea played a decent enough match and ran them hard for most of the game. It took a very late Samir Nasri goal to win it for the hosts after Gary Cahill scrambled in after a corner and Sergio Aguero scored via the spot (thanks to Michael Essien's Salomon Kalou moment).

Buuuut this sucks. It's the opposite feeling to the match against Napoli last week, especially because we looked good for a win until a spell of awful defending coughed up two goals. The positives - this was the most difficult domestic game left on our schedule and we didn't completely melt down. The centre backs played excellently against a very good attacking team. We did well against a team that could win the Premier League, even if we weren't anything like at our best.

This sort of thing happens, and it's acceptable in isolation. Onwards and upwards - let's get three points against Spurs and haul ourselves right back into this thing. Community rating form after the break.
