Didier Drogba's Injury Doesn't Look Serious

Didier Drogba managed to injure himself late in Chelsea's otherwise flawless match against Bolton Wanderers when he went in very late on Tuncay and appeared to hurt his knee, a problem which forced his withdrawal for Fernando Torres in the 76th minute. The last time Drogba was gone for significant time, Chelsea went into an awful tailspin, so there was some fear that if it proved serious we'd be in deep trouble. Fortunately, that does not appear to be the case:

"Drogba picked up a knock and is being assessed by medical staff, not sure if he will join up with Ivory Coast national team." #CFC (SL)

If Drogba is only in doubt for the Ivory Coast's match against Peru (which ESPN is telling me is postponed, but hey), there's not much fear of him missing significant time for Chelsea. Thank goodness! Drogba might not be at his very best, but he's a player we need in the lineup if we're going to pull away in the battle for fourth.
