Yossi Benayoun is one of Chelsea's many players out on loan this fall, but it looks as if he'll be returning to our part of London in the very near future. According to Benayoun himself:
Recovering slowly from the injury..loan with west ham will be finish in few days so disappointed that I didn't took part in the last games.

Yossi will likely be returning to Cobham, and having worked with Rafa Benitez before, he may actually be someone that the interim manager can find a use for. I'd be upset if he took minutes away from players like Oscar or even Marko Marin, but he's probably more familiar with Rafa's system than most depth we could add in January.
More likely than staying at Chelsea would seem to be a new home on loan until his contract thankfully expires at the end of the season. We'll probably end up paying a portion of his wages for the rest of the season, assuming anyone is even interested in taking him off our hands. I suppose we could give Arsene Wenger a call about a second go-around there, as he may be forced to sell Theo Walcott, and Yossi is probably still better than Gervinho. It's something to watch, and maybe I'll be able to shorten the loan report a bit now.
