Chelsea vs. Aston Villa: Lineups & Game Thread

Whoever's got the best Belgian just might win tonight.

I must confess, I'm super preoccupied - or at least should be - with events that are set to be happening later on in the next 24-36 hours (Seahawks v. 49ers and then crossing a mountain pass or three on I-5 in a blizzard, if you must ask), but here we are anyway for now, watching Chelsea and Aston Villa.

Life.

Football.

Chelsea starting lineup (4-2-3-1):
Petr Cech; Ashley Cole, Gary Cahill, Branislav Ivanovic, Cesar Azpilicueta; Frank Lampard, David Luiz; Eden Hazard, Juan Mata, Victor Moses; Fernando Torres

Substitutes from: Ross Turnbull, Paulo Ferreira, Nathan Ake, Ramires, Oscar, Marko Marin, Lucas Piazon

Aston Villa starting lineup (3-5-2):
Brad Guzan; Nathan Baker, Ciaran Clark, Chris Herd; Eric Lichaj, Barry Bannan, Brett Holman, Ashley Westwood, Matthew Lowton; Christian Benteke, Andreas Weimann

Substitutes from: Shay Given, Jordan Bowery, Karim El Ahmadi, Stephen Ireland, Joe Bennett, Fabian Delph, Marc Albrighton

After a bit of misdirection from Mr. Interim, it is back to midfield for Sideshow. Nathan Ake makes the bench one again.

For the visitors, Chelsea-killer Stephen Ireland is only on the bench - we have a chance! Super young and unchanged from the side that scalped Liverpool at Anfield...
