Chelsea have announced their full 23-man squad that will be traveling to Japan for the Club World Cup in a few weeks, and there really weren't any major surprises. The full squad for that tournament will be as follows:
Goalkeepers: Petr Cech, Ross Turnbull, Henrique Hilario
Defenders: Branislav Ivanovic, Ashley Cole,David Luiz, Paulo Ferreira, Gary Cahill, John Terry, Cesar Azpilicueta, Ryan Bertrand
Midfielders: Oriol Romeu, Ramires, Frank Lampard, Oscar, John Obi Mikel, Eden Hazard, Marko Marin, Lucas Piazon
Forwards: Fernando Torres, Juan Mata, Victor Moses, Daniel Sturridge
It appears that the club feel that all of John Terry, Frank Lampard, and Daniel Sturridge will be fit enough to take part, so we've named a more or less full strength squad. Our first game will be against the winner of the match between Monterrey and Ulsan Hyundai, with Sanfrecce Hiroshima, Auckland City, Al-Ahly, and Corinthians on the other side of the bracket.
