We have to wait another 24 hours before Chelsea take the field for the first time in the "New Manager" era. To ease our transition back into actually watching and talking about the football itself, let's take a look at a busy Saturday schedule in the Premier League and around Europe.

It all starts in a little over 5 minutes, as Sunderland kicks off versus West Bromwich Albion. The Albion - i.e. the root of all manager firings - have once again left Romelu Lukaku on the bench. As is customary though, he'll probably make an appearance in the second half.

Tea time brings four more matches, with Manchester United vs. Harry Redknapp's (record) fifth team in the Premier League probably the pick of the bunch. Others include Everton vs. Norwich City, Stoke City vs. Fulham, and Wigan vs. Reading. Aston Villa vs. Arsenal as the late kick off (12:30 PM EST) round out today's Premier League slate.

Plenty of action around the rest of Europe as well, including both Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.

Discuss.
