There wasn't much going on today for Chelsea's international players, but we do have a short update to give you. The Netherlands U21 side was in action Monday against Slovakia, so we had the possibility of seeing both Jeffrey Bruma and Milan Lalkovic in action.

Bruma again started an played the full 90 for the Netherlands, as they won by a 2-0 scoreline. The Dutch finished the two-legged tie up 4-0 on aggregate, so they will be advancing to the UEFA U21 championships during the summer of 2013. Bruma played the entire 90 minutes today, and was again solid if largely untested. That concludes Bruma's international break, so he'll now be heading back to Germany.

Milan Lalkovic was on the bench for the Slovakian team, but he did not make an appearance. It's nice to see him keep making benches this season, but it would make me happier to see him play. On that note, it's back to Portugal for Lalkovic.
