Chelsea FC loan roundup: October 14, 2012

There were still Chelsea loanees in action even though it was an international break.

There wasn't much to report on the loan front this week, but some of the lower divisions did still have action despite the time off for the top divisions. Three Chelsea players were potentially in action, so I've put together the shortest roundup that you guys are likely to see for a while.

  • Sam Walker (Bristol Rovers): Walker has been serving as the backup keeper at Bristol, and that continued over the break. Bristol drew Burton 1-1, and Sam had a great view from the bench. Sam is gaining nothing by riding the bench at Bristol, so returning him to Cobham is probably best for all parties involved.
  • Ulises Davila (CE Sabadell): Davila has been a regular on the Sabadell bench, and he again made an appearance this weekend with his side trailing 2-0. He came on in the 55th minute and played fairly well in the 2-1 defeat.
  • Jhon Pirez (Leganes): As usual, there was no sign of Pirez.

That's it for this week, I'm sure next weekend's report will be significantly longer.
