Chelsea's international players had a busy day on Friday as many of them were in action for their countries. We'll start our look in on them with the English national team. Gary Cahill got the start, but barely had anything to do as the three lions smashed San Marino. Ashley Cole started the game on the bench and went unused on Friday.

Petr Cech was his usual fantastic self in the Czech Republic's 3-1 victory. Cech didn't keep a clean sheet but he saved yet another penalty.

The Belgians defeated Branislav Ivanovic and Serbia by a 3-0 score with Thibaut Courtois keeping the clean sheet. Kevin De Bruyne had a goal and an assist before being subbed off in the 87th minute. Eden Hazard played 55 minutes in this one and Bran played all 90 for the Serbs.

Conor Clifford was an the bench for Ireland as they were thrashed by Germany but was not involved in the game. Josh McEachran was also unused for the England U21 side as they defeated Serbia 1-0. They'll play the away leg against the Serbs on Tuesday.

Fernando Torres went unused in an easy victory for Spain. Up next for the defending World Cup champs, France.

It will be a quiet day for Chelsea players tomorrow, as John Obi Mikel, Victor Moses and Nigeria will be the only ones in action against Liberia. We'll have another update for you after that game is finished.
