A pair of Chelsea players were in action on Tuesday at the U19 level, and both had excellent showings in those games. Nathan Ake was involved for the Netherlands, while Islam Feruz played for the Scottish U19 side.

We'll start with Ake, as the young Dutchman managed to find the back of the net. He played 72 minutes in the Netherlands' 5-0 rout of Malta, and scored the second goal of the game. He was generally very sound defensively as well, which is nice to see since he's a center back. I haven't been able to find any video of the goal yet, but I'll certainly add it if I do at a later time. I was pretty excited to see that we have images of Ake in the database though.

Feruz played 90 minutes in the Scotland 4-0 over Armenia. While he didn't score, he created quite a few chances for the squad and received rave reviews from basically everyone who watched the match. Alex Davey did not play, as he was recovering from a minor hamstring injury he suffered last week.

There is only one Chelsea youth potentially in action today, as Chike Kandi has been named to the Welsh U19 squad that will host the Swedish team. There are a handful of Chelsea players in action on Thursday, including the three players that featured (or could have) on Tuesday, Oriol Romeu, and the Brazilian contingent.
