Paris Saint-Germain director of football Leonardo has called out Chelsea winger Florent Malouda specifically as a summer target as the Parisians continue to rework their team into genuine Champions League contenders, helped out by a big pile of money. PSG have been linked with Inter Milan midfielder Thiago Motta this window, and while shooting that particular rumour down, up popped Malouda's name:
*Not that there's anything wrong with that, says the Chelsea fan.
Malouda's contract expires at the end of the 2012/13 season, although he's widely expected to move on in the near future thanks to a lack of playing time as Chelsea look to the likes of Juan Mata to build around. The 31-year-old has claimed in the past that he'd like to play in Brazil at some point, but there'd plenty of time for that should he head to PSG - and he'd get a reunion with old friend Carlo Ancelotti, for whom he was a key player in the double-winning side of 2009/10.
