We have a chance to start off the weekend right this morning at Carrow Rd. A win today will put Chelsea in a more secure position in the table tomorrow afternoon regardless of the outcomes of the weekend's other games. We just need to see the club take care of business today and the rest of the results will sort themselves out. Here are the lineups:
Chelsea FC: Cech, Bosingwa, Luiz, Terry, Cole, Meireles, Ramires, Lampard, Sturridge, Mata, Torres
Subs: Turnbull, Ivanovic, Bertrand, Essien, Romeu, Malouda, Lukaku
Norwich City: Ruddy; R Martin, Ayala, Whitbread, Naughton; Pilkington, Fox, Johnson, Surman; Holt, Morison.
Subs: Steer, Drury, Crofts, Bennett, Hoolahan, Wilbraham, Jackson.
Mark Clattenberg will referee
No Gary Cahill debut today, but I doubt that's going to upset too many here. More notably is our lack of a defensively minded holder today which would indicate that AVB feels we will have a fair amount of the ball. Here's hoping for a big game from the club...have at it.
