Blues midfielder Josh McEachran's loan to Swansea City has been confirmed by the club (don't worry, he'll be back) and Chelsea TV got the chance to interview him before the youngster headed off to Wales. Most of the minute that's popped up on Youtube (video below) was talking about how he was a little nervous to be joining a new club because he'd have to sing, but there's a bit of a gem about expected playing time to be found at the very end:
While I have full faith's in Josh's ability, I'm not entirely sure he'll manage to start most of Swansea's matches. Leon Britton's been brilliant, so he isn't going anywhere, and the Swans have just acquired awesome ex-Reading midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson on loan from Hoffenheim, so McEachran faces a real battle to get significant starting minutes at his new team. However, it's by no means beyond him to make a huge impact, and hopefully his loan spell will be as successful as Danny Sturridge's at Bolton.
Good luck Josh!
