I don't know how I missed this earlier, but better late then never. New Chelsea signing Ulises Davila, who joined the Blues on a five year deal from Chivas de Guadelajara last week and is probably best known at this point for making fun of Arsenal on his Twitter account, has now officially moved to Eredivisie side Vitesse Arnhem on a season-long loan deal. He joins centre back Tomas Kalas as part of this year's Chelsea Youth's Grand Adventure In Holland.

Davila will wear number 24 with his new club but he still needs to get a work permit on account of not being from an European Union country. However, work permits are much easier to obtain in the Netherlands than they are in the UK, as Slobodan Rajkovic and Chelsea recently discovered, so I doubt there'll be much issue there.

It's another reason to pay attention to Vitesse this season, although Davila is far from guaranteed a starting role there despite some praise from sporting director Ted van Leeuwen. Hopefully he gets a couple of years on loan to fulfill his potential and then Chelsea get themselves a nice little 22-year-old attacking midfielder/striker for the beginning of the 2013/14 campaign. That's a long ways off, though.
