Chelsea have drawn Premier League neighbours Fulham in the third round of the League Cup, with the tie to be held at Stamford Bridge. It's one of four all-Premier League matches we'll get in the third round, which also includes Manchester United heading to Elland Road to face off against old friends Leeds.
It's not really an ideal result, going up aginst the Cottagers, because there are a few young players we could have done with putting on the first team and playing against a Premier League side in the third round means that Andre Villas-Boas might be somewhat less inclined to field a weaker squad. Hopefully Chelsea are planning on taking the Carling Cup seriously this year - it'd be nice to land another piece of silverware after missing out on everything last season.
