Just in case there was any doubt that Google Translate had suddenly broken and we were all being misled by the Spanish reports, here's confirmation from Chelsea themselves that Juan Manuel Mata will be coming to Stamford Bridge for a physical and to negotiate personal terms. Once those pass, he'll join the squad.

I'd expect the physical to take place on Monday, and if the rumours Marca reported are true, terms are more or less agree. Mata will sign a five-year contract with the Blues worth around £55,000 per week, in addition to the reported €28M (£25M) transfer that the club will be paying Valencia for his services. Details of the move remain unconfirmed, however, but that's a very good deal for Chelsea as it stands.

We're probably in line for an official introduction on Tuesday or Wednesday, but I'd be very surprised to see Mata in the squad for Norwich. He'll need more than half a week's worth of training to be able to play a Premier League match, especially since the La Liga season hasn't started due to the current strike.

So, that's the wide player we've all be pining for sorted out (although we should note that Mata can also play centrally). Is the club done in the market now, after buying Thibaut Courtois, Romelu Lukaku, Oriol Romeu and now Mata? My gut says no - what think you?
