I wish this news had come, say, six months ago. FC Porto were an excellent attacking team last season under new Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas, and the two undisputed stars of the show were Hulk and Colombian striker Radamel Falcao. With Villas-Boas extremely popular with his players, it comes as no surprise that some want to follow him to Stamford Bridge. Hulk, with a ludicrous release clause price, seems out of reach, but Falcao's is far more reasonable - and it sounds like he'd welcome the chance to play in London.
I am leaving things up to my agent. I am very calm about the situation but I know there has been some movement. My ambition is to keep working hard and I am convinced I can play in a superior league like England. If Chelsea is interested in me then all that needs to happen is for negotiations to take place.

Falcao is one of my two favourite all-around centre forwards on the planet (the other being Napoli's Edinson Cavani, who is way more adorable), and I would absolutely love to see him in a Chelsea shirt. He's a fantastic, fantastic player. However, Chelsea spent 50M on Fernando Torres just a few months ago, and have Didier Drogba on the team as well. Falcao would, I think, be an upgrade on both, and in an ideal world we'd be able to simply replace Torres and his salary with the Colombian.
But we don't live in an ideal world, and it'd be almost impossible to move Torres without suffering a huge loss in the process. Drogba is a more likely candidate to go, but we'd then be forced to watch a £50M Torres on the bench most of the time, which sounds like an unpleasant game. I'm all about cutting sunk costs when possible, but my inclination is to try to make Torres work after spending so much money on him - especially when there are so many other positions that could be in need of an upgrade.
With Falcao's release clause reported variously as €30M and €45M, he could actually be an incredibly cheap way to upgrade the squad, especially since he wants to come to Chelsea. But I don't really think it'll happen unless, somehow, Torres is sold. Then again, apparently there's 'movement'. Stay tuned.
