Brazilian star Kaka has been linked to Chelsea pretty heavily over the last few months, and a tweet from his mother about her moving to London sent the media into something of a frenzy that he would be coming to Stamford Bridge over the summer (they wouldn't shut up about it today, which was immensely annoying). Anyway, Kaka, who was attending the launch of the adiPower Predator, has confirmed that his mother will indeed be moving to London come August, but it's nothing to do with him.
I'm not going to do a blockquote because this is me paraphrasing what he said earlier today and I am the world's least competent journalist, but here's the gist of the conversation: What my mother said was true: She is moving to London. However, it is something she is doing on her own. She is a priest and will go to London to talk about God and stuff*.
He was then asked a barrage of questions about a move to Chelsea. I was expecting Kaka to dodge the questions, but instead he gave a firm rebuttal to any hint of a move away from Real Madrid, insisting that he would like to stay with the club and fully expects to stay with the club, despite the arrival of Nuri Sahin to go along with Mesut Ozil. So, from the horse's mouth: Kaka is not currently planning on a summer move to Stamford Bridge.
*NB: The 'God and stuff' is not a paraphrase, it's word for word what he said.
