With a ton of speculation as to what will go on at Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, it seems that Harry Redknapp is already eyeing up Chelsea's hit man Didier Drogba.
The Independent has covered Redknapp's comments that he would be interested in signing Drogba, along with Scott Parker, if the opportunity arose in the off-season. But is this Didier Drogba's last season at Chelsea?
Though DD has broke into some decent form since the arrival of Fernando Torres, it has been a relatively average season but the big Ivorian's usual standards. With Torres having now arrived, is Drogba still the man to lead Chelsea's strike force?
And then there's the age issue: Drogba is 33. He could well have played his best football and if the club want some decent money from a transfer, it will have to come at the end of this season. There is no a lot of money in selling 34 year old's, even if they have the track record of Dider Drogba.
Like so many other questions surrounding Chelsea at the moment, this question will only be answered when the Chelsea's Manager is settled upon by Roman Abramovich.
One intriguing question though: if the "Special One" was to make an unlikely return to Chelsea, would he want to hang onto the man he brought and built his Chelsea team around? Orr would a Jose want to start his new era with a clear out that saw Drogba leave Chelsea?
