Yossi Benayoun returns to action

Many Chelsea players had the day off of international duty, having been released to rejoin the club earlier in the week.  There was one notable exception, however, as Yossi Benayoun was named to the bench as Israel hosted Georgia in Euro 2010 qualifying action.  Benayoun came on in the 71st minute of the Israeli victory, and had a relatively uneventful cameo.  While Yossi is probably not fit to go a full 90 at this point, his availability will be critical for a Chelsea side that now face 7 games in 22 days (and potentially 11 in 36 if they reach the champions league semis).  Hopefully the return to action of both he and Alex will allow Carlo to rotate the squad some, giving our midfielders and defenders an occasional rest.  Welcome back Yossi...we'd love the chance to get to know you.
